Follow these steps to set up your first Ledger XRP account.
Step 1: Download and install Ledger Live on your computer

Make sure your Ledger device is running the latest firmware version.
Step 2: Install the XRP app on your Ledger device
The following instructions are suitable for Ledger Nano S Plus. Please check out their full guide if you are using other versions:
Step 3: Head to My Ledger, approve the Ledger Manager on your physical ledger

Step 4: Search for the XRP application and click ‘Install’.
Step 5: Once you have installed the XRP application, head to ‘Accounts’.
Create your first XRP account in Ledger Live.

Step 6: Click Add account on the top right side of the screen.

Step 7: Select ‘XRP’ under the asset class.

Step 8: Enter your PIN in your physical Ledger device.
Step 9: Open the XRP app on your Ledger device.
Step 10: Name your XRP account and click ‘Add account’.

Trezor #
Trezor hardware wallets are one of the hardware wallets developed by SatoshiLabs that provide cryptocurrency security.
Follow these steps to add an XRP account to your Trezor wallet
- Step 1: Connect your Trezor wallet to the Trezor Suite
- Step 2: Head to your Accounts tab
- Step 3: Click on the (+) icon beside ‘My accounts’, on the top left side of the page
- Step 4: Click ‘Activate more coins’
- Step 5: Mark XRP
- Step 6: Click ‘Find my XRP accounts’
- Step 7: Head to ‘Receive’ to show your full address
- Step 8: Verify your XRP address with your Trezor device
- Step 9: Copy your XRP address
- Step 10: Congrats! You’ve added an XRP account to your Trezor portfolio!
